Musician first

I'm Akseli, an audio engineer from Espoo, Finland. I've played drums since I was seven, took my first audio jobs at fifteen, and now mix front of house and monitors for well-known Finnish bands and international artists.

The longer story

I've played the drums since I was seven. At thirteen I lost my heart to audio, and in 2013, at fifteen, I had my first jobs behind a desk. That road has taken me to front of house and monitors for some of Finland's most recognisable bands, and for international stars too.

Being a musician myself, I serve the music and mix as if I'm part of the band. I don't just mix the performance; I paint it, to bring out what the artists are saying and lift it to new heights.

Off the desk

Between gigs I'm learning electronics, IT and coding, producing new music, and playing shows with my own band, Shaken.
